Scream Awards: Best Actor/Actress in Horror...and Best Mutilation (I'm not kidding) and George Romero

There are vampires, and then there are vampires. Screw the non-fanged, glittery, teen-angsty blood suckers. Wanna guess who won for Best Actor in Horror? And Best Actress?

Good thing they both won. Wouldn't want to cause a domestic issue.

And now, coolest category ever, Best Mutilation. The nominees? Nuked alive: Last House on the Left, Head Ripped Apart by Nazi Zombies: Dead Snow, Arm Removal Surgery: Splinter...

And I'm not telling you who won this one. You have to watch. I'd totally rob you of the joy of reliving these fantastically bloody moments. I'll just say that the winner is NOT among the nominees...

Quentin Tarantino just took the stage to give George A. Romero his tribute award. Tarantino yelled, "George A. Romero. As far as I'm concerned, that A stands for A. Fucking. Genius." (Sooo...when are we giving Quentin an award? Have you seen Inglourious Basterds? It fucking rocks! And it will forever mess up my spell check.) As they show scenes from Romero's incredible body of work they're playing Rob Zombie's "Living Dead Girl". Awesome. They just carried a piano onto the stage, covered in cobwebs and candlesticks as the man himself enters. Got to love an old guy with a ponytail. He talked about Resurection of the Dead...which is now called Survival of the Dead. I guess there's been discussion. So, what's your favorite Romero film?

Spike TV's Scream Awards will premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27 (10:00 PM-Midnight, ET/PT)
